Review: The Hotel Les Hautes Roches is carved into the rocks located on a limestone tufa cliff overlooking the Loire. It is situated in the middle of the Vouvray wine area. It has been a member of Relais & Châteaux since 1991.
There are 14 rooms, 12 of which are carved out of the rock.
The hotel is a former monastery with troglodytic cave bedrooms. We chose a south-facing superior cave room that was carved into the rock, with a view of the Loire.
