Review: When we visited Bordeaux in August 2017, we stayed in the Intercontinental Grand Hotel Bordeaux. This excellent hotel is situated in the middle of the city, opposite the magnificent opera house.
Unfortunately, the 2 Michelin star Gordon Ramsey restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel, Le Pressoir d’Argent Gordon Ramsey, was closed for refurbishment. We therefore visited his bistro at the hotel. It was so good, we returned a few days later.
The restaurant: The interior of the restaurant is Belle Époque style, with upholstered chairs and 19th-century-style brass lamps. There is also a large terrace, where we sat, to enjoy watching the crowds go by. You can also smoke outside if you want.
